Shirley Guerriero, 80

BOARDMAN ­ Funeral services will be officiated by the Rev. Ash Welsh at noon Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, for Shirley Guerriero, 80, who passed away Monday morning at her home. Shirley was born July 16, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Phoebe Dusch Barker. She was a Chaney High School graduate. Shirley belonged to the Boardman United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School. Though out the years, Shirley volunteered at Help Hotline and many other community charities. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James A. Guerriero, whom she married Sept. 13, 1952; a daughter, Paula Jo (Bill) Geidner of Boardman; a son, James A. Jr. (Kelly) Guerriero of Columbiana; a brother, Ernest (Mariann) Barker of Austintown; and three grandchildren, Alyssa Underwood, J.J. Guerriero and Jianna Guerriero. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edith McFall. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
