POLAND A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Edward P. Noga, held today at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, for David W. He graduated from University School and Point Park University, both in Pittsburgh. He attended St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pa., St. Gregory Seminary in Cincinnati and St. Meinrad in Indiana. David was a sales representative for many companies and was presently working as a consultant for Universal Remediation. He was a active member of St. Patrick Church and Toastmasters of Youngstown. His love for the outdoors led him to enjoy golf, owning a cabin in Cook¹s Forest and help Poland Community Baseball Association acquire land. He spent a lot of time doing family genealogy and was an assistant chaplain in the Army. Dave leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Cheri A. Heintz; six children, Mark D. (Lori) Casey of Poland, Paul F. (Renee) Casey of Indianapolis, Susan K. Ianacone of Las Vegas, Jon S (Roxann) Carroll of Lake City, Pa., Bradley T. Carroll of Poland and Christina M. (Frank Jr.) Pezzano of Columbus; three sisters, Marjorie Sweitzer of Alexandria, Va., Barbara (Charles) McCrudden of Boardman and Marilyn (Jerry) Bracken of Chevy Chase, Md.; a brother, Donald (Gloria) Casey of Fox Chapel, Pa.; and eight grandchildren, Ryan, Erika, Connor, Alison and Morgan Casey, Lucas Ianacone and Samuel and Madilyn Pezzano; several loving nieces and nephews; and his two cats. Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Casey; two sisters, Nancy Lanich and Rosemary Casey; father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Lou Heintz; and a sister-in-law, Dee Reuff. Friends may call today from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Patrick Church. Material tributes can be made in David¹s memory to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512 or to St. Jude¹s Children Research Foundation, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. David¹s family wishes to thank the staffs at U.P.M.C., Hospice of the Valley and Dr. Chris Knight and the Hope Center for their loving and compassionate care.
