CANFIELD A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the High Pointe Assembly of God Church in Struthers, for Donna Jean (Burton) Labozan, 78, who died May 9, 2010, at the Hospice House after a courageous 12-month battle with cancer. A receiving line will precede the memorial service from 10 to 11 a.m. to greet the family. Donna was born March 23, 1932, in Youngstown, the daughter of Harry and Eltie Burton. She was an active member of the High Pointe Assembly of God Church and spent most of her life taking care of her family and helping others. She leaves four children, Pamela Thomas of North Carolina, Diane (Doug) Mincher of Georgia, Walter (Tiffany) Labozan of Youngstown and Betty (Jim) Leone of Canfield; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Rachel, Rebecca, Nisha, Jimmy, Vincent, Walter and Tiffaney; and two great-grandchildren, Max and Abbey. She had six siblings that preceded her in death, Dorothy Sandrock, Ruby Burgess, Sally Mounts, Francis Burton, Edward Burton and Bobby Burton. Donna¹s family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the kindness shown and care given to her during her illness. This ministry is truly an extension of the hand of Jesus.
