Mark Philip Cavucci, Jr.

Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Edward P. Noga and Rev. Stephen Popovich at 10 a.m. at Saint Patrick Church in Youngstown, for Mark P. Cavucci, Jr., 67, who passed away peacefully on Friday Morning June 9, 2017 at his residence.

Mark was born August 24, 1949, in Youngstown, a son of Mark Philip and Ann E. DiMaiolo Cavucci, Sr., he was a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate of St. Patrick’s grade school and graduated from Poland High School in 1967.

 After graduation Mark attended a trade school and then worked at General Motors, retiring in 2006.

Mark was a parishioner at St. Patrick Church and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where he was a renewal team member and was an usher.

Mark managed the Arco club along with his father for many years, his real passion was cars, and was an avid Nascar racing fan. Mark’s true love was his family, and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

He married his wife Kathleen “Kathy “Ann Crisafi at St. Patrick Church April 8, 1978, sadly Kathy passed away September 9, 2013.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter Kelly R. Cavucci of Austintown, and his sisters, Roseann (John) DiBernardo of Boardman;

Debbie (Jim) Pipoly of Austintown and Dee (Joe) Kello of Poland and his sister-in-law Judy Cavucci of Wexford, Pa.; many beloved nieces and nephews. He also leaves his grand-dog Sookie, who will miss him very much.

Besides his wife and parents Mark was preceded in death by his son Marcus A. Cavucci who passed away July 7, 2007, and his brother Joseph Cavucci.

Mark's family request that material tributes be given in his memory  to St. Patrick’s Church 1420 Oak Hill Ave. Youngstown, Oh. 44507.
