There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday June 4, 2018 at St. Dominic Church, 77 E. Lucius Ave. Youngstown, celebrated by Rev. Peter Totleben, O.P., for Antoinette M. Tamburro, 83 of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth, Mercy Health in Boardman.
Antoinette was born September 30, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Salvatore and Josephine Piesto Mosca, she was a lifelong area resident.
She graduated from Chaney High School and worked at City Asphalt and Paving as a secretary and was a longtime member at St. Dominic church.
Antoinette married her husband Leonard D. Tamburro, April 12, 1958 at St. Brendan Church, he passed away July 27, 2016.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Lenore (Frank) LaRubbio of Poland, two sons Leonard Tamburro of Crete, IN., and Samuel Tamburro of Fredrick, MD., two brothers Sam (Karen) Mosca of Youngstown, and Joseph (Nancy) Mosca of Canfield, two grandchildren Frankie and Vinny LaRubbio and several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves her sister-in-law JoAnn Mosca of Boardman.
Besides her parents and husband Antoinette was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Lori Tamburro and brother John Mosca.
Family and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Monday at St. Dominic Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fox Funeral Home 4700 Market St. Boardman.
