John M. Conroy

LIBERTY - It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely death of our beloved brother, John M. Conroy earlier this week. John was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle & Friend.

John was born on February 24, 1959 in Youngstown, the son of the late Jack & Martha Conroy. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1977 & later completed his Engineering Degree at YSU. John worked as an electrical engineer for Packard & Alphabet /Stoneridge prior to his retirement.

John was always there to lend a hand and a forever loyal friend. He leaves behind his sisters, Linda Conroy Bush of Poland, Patty (Mark) Conroy-Smith & nephews Dylan & Jackson Smith of Rocky River and brother, James of Dallas.

In addition to his immediate family, John is survived by his Aunt, Virginia Conroy; numerous cousins; and a multitude of cherished friends, including Michael, Tina and Molly Bury. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our “guardian angel here on earth”, John Freeze for all his support & guidance thru this difficult time.

John was a loving caretaker to his mother Martha before her death. We were amazed to see the gentle kindness & compassion he showed to her. He was an avid gardener, dog lover, sports fan, brew master & poker player. We will miss his elfish grin & laugh.

Please join us as we Celebrate John’s Life at Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market Street, Boardman, OH 44512 on Wednesday at 2:00pm with a service celebrated by Fr. Edward Noga. Friends may call from 1 to 2 P.M., an hour before the service.  The family requests you dress casual and feel free to wear the colors of Ireland, or your favorite Sport Team.
