Madge A. Douglass

 A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers at 11 a.m. Monday  at St. Charles Church for Madge A. Douglass, 92 who passed away peacefully Thursday at her home.

Madge was born July 8, 1924 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hazlin Sally.

She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1942. Madge was a homemaker and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She worked in the Boardman Schools in the  cafeteria.

She was a member at Saint Charles Church and Saint Cyril and Methodius Church. ladies Alter Guild, Junior Seaton Circle, St. Charles Bowling league, the Resurrection Choir and the over 55 club.

Her husband Andrew J. Douglass whom she married September 4, 1946 at Saint Cyril and Methodius Church, passed away November 22, 2015.

She touched many lives in many ways, with her loving open heart, filled with grace, strength and character. Dedicated, not just to her family but all who whose lives she touched. She will be missed by friends, relatives and family. She Leaves her  four daughters, Patricia (John) Yozwiak of Lexington, KY.; Barbara (Bob) Ferranti of Boardman; Marilou (Ron) Detwiler of Columbian; and Terri (Michael) Calautti of Boardman; her 11 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Madge leaves her two sisters-in-law, Mary Louise DiMarco of Boardman and Amy Holland of Liberty.

Besides her parents and her husband, Madge was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph, John and Aloysious Sally and her sister Agnes Mentzer.
