Margaret Cianciolo Obituary

Prayers will be 10 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. John Keehner, held at St. Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, on Monday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. for Margaret M. (Berry) Cianciolo who passed away Sunday  at her home.

Margaret was born May 7, 1916, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret Berry.  For thirty years she was employed by the Diocese of Youngstown as secretary in the Department of Education and later became Office Supervisor in the Chancery, she retired in 1983.  Margaret was employed by Aetna Standard Engineering Company and International Business Machines (IBM).

She was affiliated with Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital and served as President of the Hospital Guild for several years.  She worked many years to help with the establishment of the new hospital.

Margaret married Joseph J. Cianciolo on August 23, 1952.  He was a Navy veteran of WWII and preceded her in death in 1985.  She leaves their four children, Gary Cianciolo of CA, Joan Cianciolo of Cape Coral, FL with whom she made her home since 2005, James (Paula) Cianciolo of Canfield, and Gina (Michael) Mook of Canfield.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Stanley and Earl and a sister Marie.  She leaves along with her life long friend Sister Jerome Corcoran of the Ursuline Motherhouse, nine grandchildren Kristen Amicone, Gina Turek, Richard and Steven Cianciolo, James and Joseph Mook, Christopher Reilly, Carla and Jonathan Frenchko; four great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves four  beloved nieces Lillian Holmes, Margaret Donnelly, Betty Hanstein, Sally Slike.

  Three  beloved nieces, Jean Marshall and Billie Lynne Groff; Janice Livingston and three beloved nephews, Stanley Berry, Jr., Ralph Berry and Edward Berry preceded her in death.

Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home 4700 Market St. Boardman, Oh.
