BOARDMAN - Margaret S. Voytko passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, with her brother Edward Voytko by her side.
Marge was born December 21, 1931 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Joseph and Susan Vescur Voytko. Margaret worked in the offices of Penn-Ohio Towel Supply Company for 22 years. She worked in Windsor Nursing Home for 14 years, 10 years as Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor. She was a life-long member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church.
Margaret is survived by her sister Veronica Misalko of Poland and brother Edward Voytko of Mansfield, OH, her nieces and nephews, the joy of her life, including Thomas and Sonja Voytko of Boardman who were her caregivers, John and Erin Misalko of Poland, Linda Pera of Youngstown, David Misalko of Boardman, Juliann (Dr. Steven) Wolf of Cleveland, TN, Susan (Keith) Bacin of Lexington, OH, Edward (Robin) Voytko of Lucas, OH, Ronald (Patricia) Voytko of Youngstown, Josephine (John) Armeni of Naples, FL, Mary Ann Baranyi of Austintown, Dennis (Debbie) Voytko of Youngstown, Thomas (Kathy) Voytko of New Middletown, John (Anna) Pera of Canfield. She is also survived by 25 great-nieces and nephews, including Joseph Voytko of Boardman, who assisted in her care while she was still in her home, and 25 great-great nephews and nieces.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Voytko, Thomas Voytko and Charles Voytko and her sister, Mary Pera, and her nephew Michael Voytko and niece Carrie McConnell.
The family would like to express deepest gratitude to the staff of Shepherd of the Valley and Hospice Care for her later years, and also to Dr. Joseph Zeno and his staff for compassionate care over her previous years.
Per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
