Funeral Services will be 10 A.M. Saturday officiated by Rev Dave Watkins at Crossroads Church, Austintown, for Mark A. Odom, 39 of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Thursday evening. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mark was born April 22, 1980, a son of Edward J. and Jody Heitzwebel Odom Sr. A 1998 graduate of Boardman High School, he attended Youngstown State University and worked at Boak and Sons as the foreman in the flat roofing department. An athlete, Mark enjoyed weightlifting, coaching, soccer and football. Mark was a devout member of Crossroads Church.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, the former Mandy Renee Laihr, whom he married May 19, 2001 and his children Destiny, Christian and Kellan, all at home in Boardman, his parents of Boardman, brothers Edward (Tracie) Odom Jr. of Austintown and Kevin Odom of Chesapeake, VA, and sister Amber (Billy) Bjorkgren of Columbus, grandparents Mary Ann Odom of Austintown and Richard Heitzwebel of Cortland and mother-in-law Lynda Laihr.
Mark is preceded in death by grandfather Ashford Odom, grandmother Georgia Lee Dugic and father-in-law James Laihr.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
