Nadine A. Biro

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers at 10 A.M. on Monday, November 27 at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, for Nadine A. Biro, 86, who passed away peacefully at Assumption Village in North Lima Sunday afternoon, November 19, 2017. 

Nadine was born August 28, 1931 in Marblehead, OH, a daughter of Joseph and Helen Chura Smorgala.  She married George Biro on August 1, 1953 in Marblehead, and moved to the Youngstown area a year later.  Nadine was a member of St. Charles Church.  Her life was her children and her grandchildren, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, George Biro, whom she recently celebrated 64 years of marriage, a son Patrick (Norma) Biro of San Diego, CA; three daughters Carol (Paul) Schmidt of Canfield, Christine (Brad) Davis of Stow, and Cathy (Dan) Cunningham of Elyria; a sister Joan (Paul) Lukac of Port Clinton; ten grandchildren Brian (Kate), Louie (Melissa), Matt (Tina), Kerri, Brett (Bri), Kelli (Mike), Nicole, Tohnia, Jessica, and Francisco; and four great grandchildren with two on the way.       

Besides her parents, Nadine is preceded in death by a brother Joseph Smorgala. 

Friends may call on Monday, November 27 at St. Charles Church from 9 A.M. until the time of the Mass. Graveside services at St. Joseph cemetery in Marblehead, OH will follow at 2:15pm.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Assumption Village for all their kind, compassionate care during her two year stay there.

Nadine’s family wishes to have memorial tributes in her name given to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
