Welcome to the memorial page for

Rosemary J. Conroy

June 12, 1943 ~ May 7, 2017 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Rosemary Conroy was born in Youngstown, Oh., the second child of John and Anna Mae (Mullen) Conroy. She was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital on June 12, 1943. She was an active leader in “the Right to life” movement in the early 70’s and never lost her fever for that cause. She is remembered most as “Aunt Ro” by her sisters, nieces and nephews who considered her a confidant and friend. She attended Cardinal Mooney High School and Graduated in 1961. She went on to become a teacher and for a short period of time, and later became a very involved office manager. Rosemary also was a lifelong member of Saint Dominic Community. She was always available to assist her family whenever needed – which was often. She will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by those who loved her and whose lives she touched. Rosemary leaves her older sister Kathleen ( Conroy ) Mahar – Mrs. Paul Mahar, her younger sister Anne ( Conroy ) Polcha – Mrs. Andrew Polcha and thirteen nieces and nephews; to all of whom she was the favorite aunt; she also has more than 50 great nieces and nephews who loved her as well. She touched many many lives. She was loved and will be missed.
