Andrew J. Douglass, 95 BOARDMAN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Church, Boardman, for Andrew J. Douglass, 95, who passed away peacefully Sunday morning. Andrew was born March 24, 1920, in Youngstown, a son of Andrew and Louise Gillespie Douglass. He was a 1939 graduate of South High School and was a bookkeeper for East Ohio Gas, retiring after 32 years of service. Andrew was a member of St. Charles Church. He golfed in the East Ohio Golf League, enjoyed fishing and was a avid sports fan. Andrew served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife the former Madgeline "Madge" Sally, whom he married Sept. 4, 1946, at St. Cyril & Methodius Church; four daughters Patricia (John) Yozwiak of Lexington, Ken,, Barb (Bob) Ferranti of Boardman, Marilou (Ron) Detwiler of Columbiana and Terri (Michael) Calautti of Boardman; two sisters Mary Louise DiMarco of Boardman and Amy Holland of Liberty; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Andrew is preceded in death by a brother, Neal Douglass. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Church in Boardman. Material tributes can be made in Andrew's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512. Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
