Obituary

Angelo Albert Petite, 91 Angelo Albert Petite, 91, of Youngstown passed away at St. Elizabeth's Hospital on Sunday, March 5th, 2006. Born on February 14, 1915 in Youngstown, he was the son of Michael and Elizabeth Mascia Petite. Albert graduated from East High School where he participated in the varsity wrestling program. He was a Tech Sergeant in the US Air Force in the North Africa campaign during World War II. He retired as an electrician at the US Steel Youngstown Works Plant. He was preceded in death by his former wife and life long friend, Margaret Chatham Petite. Albert was also preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel, James and Joseph and his sister, Phyllis Crowley. Albert is survived by his daughter, Brenda Petite Kozar of Harrisburg, PA, a sister, Mary Gross of Youngstown and a nephew, Ronald Szoke and his wife, Stephanie, also of Youngstown. Albert is also survived by 8 additional nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9th, at Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman. The family request contributions made to either The American Heart Association, 840 Southwestern Run, Poland, OH 44514 or Angel for Animals, 4750 South Range Road, Canfield, OH 44406.
