Obituary

ANN E. CAVUCCI, 88 POLAND- Prayers will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Fox Funeral Home Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Edward Noga at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, for Ann E. Cavucci, 88, who passed away peacefully Saturday May 14, 2011. Ann was born July 31, 1922, in Youngstown a daughter of Alexander and Delores Capasso DiMaiolo who raised ten children on the South Side of Youngstown and all were baptized, married and members of St. Patrick's Parish. She was a graduate of South High School and was a Rosie the riveter to help the war effort. Ann worked at Postal Church for 30 years and was a supervisor for 25 of those years; her coworkers all loved and respected her. She took many tailoring classes; she loved to sew, ceramics, made porcelain dolls and designed dishes. Ann was a member of St. Patrick's Parish most of her life, she belonged to the Altar Guild, Parish Life and helped with the Spaghetti dinner. Ann most of all loved and enjoyed her family and was there for them all of the time. She will by truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ann married the late Mark Philip Cavucci Sr. on June 22, 1945 and together they raised five children. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters; Roseann (John) DiBernardo, Debbie (Jim) Pipoly, Dee (Joe) Kello; a son Mark P. (Kathy) Cavucci Jr.; a daughter-in-law Judy Cavucci; eight grandchildren, John (Erin) DeBernardo, Mark (Holly) DeBernardo, Kelly Cavucci, Jennifer Cavucci, Joseph (Tina) Cavucci, Brittany Boldt, Taylor Pipoly, Matthew Kello; two great grandchildren, Carly and Mark DeBernardo; three sisters, Mary DAvido, Virginia Kwienchski, Theresa Breen; two brothers, Rocky and Frank DiMaiolo and several beloved nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Joseph Cavucci, a grandson Marcus Cavucci, two sisters, Rose Frank, Florence Terrago, ; two brothers, Tony and Lou DiMaiolo.
