Annamae "Zeke" Amendolara, 90 BOARDMAN—There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Friday at Saint Charles Church, celebrated by Rev. Philip Rogers for Annamae "Zeke" Amendolara, 90, who passed away at her home Monday morning surrounded by her family. Zeke was born May 17, 1926, in Youngstown, a daughter of Catherine Bernard and has been a life-long area resident . She graduated from East High School with the Class of 1943. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband, Tony at his Interior Design Business. She was a long time member of St. Christine's parish and a more recent member of St. Charles parish. She was involved with CISV, Boys/Girls Scouts of America and the Arts Council. Her husband Tony Amendolara whom she married on November 12, 1949 died in February1998 after 48 years of marriage. She will be greatly missed by her three children, Michael (Amy Weil ) Amendolara of Brooklyn, NY; Aimee (Peter) Morrison of Boardman, Suzanne (William Mathie) Amendolara of Edinboro, PA.; five grandchildren, David Morrison, Megan Morrison (her fiance Stephen Preston), Leah Mathie, Tony Mathie and Luke Amendolara; two half-brothers, William and Tony Bernardi, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother and husband, Zeke was preceded in death by her son, David Amendolara, and her two sisters, Mary Lou Dextras and Margaret Bernard. In lieu of flowers Zeke requested any monetary donations be made to Ursuline Students of Stewardship (S.O.S.), 750 Wick Ave. Youngstown, OH 44505. Her family would like to thank her care-givers and Hospice of the Valley for their gift of love and support which enabled her to stay at home until her passing. The family will receive family and friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home in Boardman. Video Tribute:
