Boardman, Anne Louise Metzinger, 74, Prayers will be at 9:30a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St. Dominic Church for Anne Louise Metzinger, 74 of Boardman who passed away Wednesday morning. Anne was born Sept 3, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Steve & Blanche Berringer Metzinger. She was a 1952 graduate of Wilson High School and received A Bachelor degree in Education from Youngstown State. Anne taught at Watson Elementary School in Austintown for 32 Years. She was a member of the church, taught Sunday school there and was a member of the Third order of St. Dominic. She also belonged to the Youngstown Ski Club, the Ohio Cultural Alliance and played in several bridge clubs, including the Youngstown Bridge Club. She was also a member of Phi Mu Sorority, Pinnacle Partners Investment Club, Monthly Book Club & Poker Club. She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters Jane (Fred) Latessa of Youngstown and Majorie Hughes, with whom she made her home., a sister in law Pauline Metzinger, of California and several nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews and many long time friends. Anne in preceded in death by a sister Jean Coyne and a brother Raymond Metzinger. Friends may call 5 to 8p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Boardman.
