Anthony “Tony” Helmick, 43, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was born to Roy Wences and Rose Helmick on July 24, 1983, making July his favorite celebration month, always doing up a professional style fireworks display on the 4th. Tony was a hardworking and loving person who was always making sure his family and friends were taken care of. He would always bake extravagant birthday cakes for his loved one’s birthdays. Tony loved nature, animals, antiques and collectables, drawing, and watching his Broncos play and movies with his wife and kids. He had the kindest of hearts and the gentlest of ways.

He leaves the love of his life: Amber Helmick Turner, son: Anthony Helmick, daughters: Ambrosha Helmick, Athena Helmick, and Alena Helmick, Parents: Roy and Rose Helmick, brother: Theadoro “Theo” Helmick, sister: Rosa (Jeff) Stewart, brother-in-law: Joseph Turner, sisters-in-laws: Tina (George) Cvetkovich, Kristine (Clinton) Colley, Cassandra Conel-Comouse, Kimberly (Brad) Kiser, Nieces: Ariana (Cameron) Kelty, Aurora (Nathan) Trexler, Rosalia Stewart (Luke), Jeannie Belifore, Skyann Cvetkovich, Billeye Kiser, nephew: William Schoolcraft, uncle: Chris( Cheryl) Helmick, special cousin: Crystal Helmick and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins family and friends to cherish and carry on his memory.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, brother: Roy Wences Helmick Jr, cousin and great friend: Steve Helmick, and many other dearly loved family and friends.

 Family and friends may call on Monday September 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. 

interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Cemetery. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
