Atty. James J. Granito, 100 BOARDMAN--Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home and 11 A.M. in Staint Charles Church both in Boardman, for Atty. James J. Granito, 100 of Boardman, who died Monday evening. James was born April 10, 1906 in Youngstown, a son of Anthony Joseph & Marie Montesano Granito. He was a graduate of the Rayen School and Case Western Reserve Law School. He practiced law for many years and received recognition for 70 years of service from the Ohio and Mahoning County Bar Associations. James was a 65 year member of the Boardman Kiwanis and a over 50 year member of Staint Charles Church, where he served faithfully as a usher. He also belonged to the Boardman Civic and Ridgewood Civic Associations. His wife the former Helen May Mrmosh, whom he married June 7, 1937, died May 7, 2003. He leaves a son A. James (Beverly) Granito of Santa Barbara, CA; a daughter Joyce (Ron) DiTosto of Canfield; a brother Frank (Eleanor) Graneto of Poland; three grand children, Ellen Mouw, Jennifer Newman and David Neal; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by four brothers, Dr. Joseph Granito, Dr. John Graneto, Dr. Donald Graneto, Dr. Charles Granito and two sisters, Laura Wondisford and Alice Roshetsky. Friends may call 5 to 8 Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
