Campbell-Badria "Pat" Abbas-71 A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Badria "Pat" Abbas, 71 will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman. Pat died Monday morning at her son's residence in Campbell. Pat was born on January 28, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of the late Abraham & Jamileh Hassan Salman and was a long time resident of Campbell . Pat was a homemaker who devoted her life to taking care of children and grandchildren, especially her beloved son Jimmy who preceded her in death on January 11, 2008. She enjoyed winters in Florida with her many good friends from Century Village in West Palm Beach and her summers back home in Campbell with her son Omar. Pat enjoyed word puzzles, sewing, traveling, crocheting but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, Omar Abbas with whom she made her home in Campbell, Kareem Abbas of Florida; two grandchildren, Gina and Dante Abbas of Campbell; three brothers, Salman (Rose) Salman of West Palm Beach, FL, Tom (Judy)Salman of Youngstown, Joseph Salman of Boardman; a sister Lalah (Dave) Cain of Poland; a sister-in-law Chris Salman of Niles and several nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. Besides her parents and son Jimmy, Pat was preceded in death by three brothers, Mike, John and Jimmy Salman.
