Betsy Sue Finnerty, 56 COLUMBUS - A memorial service was held on September 19th for Betsy Sue Finnerty, 56, who died unexpectedly at her home Friday, Sept. 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lois Reid; and survived by her family, sisters JoAnn (Jim) Balassone, Linda Baker and Lois (Sam) Pate; nieces and nephews Natalie Adams, Julianna Lopalo, Samuel Pate, Reid Baker, Trey Baker, Ross Baker and Jessica Pasco; and grandnieces and grandnephews Leah Adams, Romy Adams, Kenny Pasco and Kendra Pasco. Betsy graduated from Chaney High School with the class of 1976, attended Capital University and graduated from Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, with a degree in Nursing. She was previously employed by Nationwide Children's Hospital in the Burn Unit and worked in Youngstown in geriatric nursing. She was also previously employed by Careworks Columbus.
