Private services were held this afternoon at the Fox Funeral Home for Betty J. Berger, 93 of Boardman, formerly of Austintown who passed away peacefully Thursday evening.

Betty was born Sept 3, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas J. and Edna Mae Regal Cantwell.   In her early years, Betty waitressed for Isaly's and Courtney's Restaurant.  More recently she had been employed at C & B Grocery on Youngstown's East Side and Golden Foods in Austintown.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Ronda Smith, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and two husbands, Betty is preceded in death by a son Daniel J. Berger.

There where no calling hours.
