Obituary

BOARDMAN- Betty C. Chambers, 86 Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church celebrated by Rev. William Rock for Betty C. Chambers, 86 of Boardman, who passed away Saturday morning. Betty was born June 15, 1923 in McKees Rocks, PA, a daughter of John A. and Ella J. Scanlon Chambers Sr. and was an area resident since 1935. She was a graduate of East High School and a member of St. Dominic Church. Betty was City Manager of All Right Youngstown Parking, retiring in 1990. She leaves to cherish her memory a brother, Paul J. (Margene) Chambers of Canfield, two sisters; Janet I. Lyons of Boardman, Patricia J. VanArsdale of Apopka, FL.; and twenty-seven nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Betty was preceded in death by three brothers; John A Chambers Jr., Robert M. Chambers, Edward L. Chambers; and three sisters, Mary M. Harris, Helen J. Lektorich and Dorothy M. Chambers. Material tributes in Betty's memory can be sent to the St. Dominic's St. Vincent DePaul Society, 77 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown, OH 44507. Friends may call from 3p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
