Betty J. Seemann, 94. Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, officiated by Pastor Richard Kidd, for Betty J. Seemann, 94 of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully Tuesday morning. Betty was born March 2, 1922 in Lowellville, a daughter of Lawrence and Flora Stephenson McDonald. She was a 1940 graduate of Struthers High School, and attended Youngstown College to study stenography. Upon finishing her studies, she was a stenographer for Youngstown Sheet & Tube , where she met her husband. Betty was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, and golfing at Fonderlac Country Club, where she was affectionately known as "Big Betty". Her husband William B. Seemann, whom she married June 18, 1948, passed away Dec 16, 1989. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children John (Diane Seydlorski) Seemann of Canfield, Linda Seemann of Laurel, Maryland and William Gary Seemann of Bowling Green, Ohio, two grandchildren Will and Cassie Seemann and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Betty, is preceded in death by brothers William, Walter and Lawrence McDonald. Friends may call from 1 to 2 Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
