Carol Sue
Esposito
Jan 28, 1944 — Jun 23, 2015
Carol Sue Esposito, 71 POLAND - Carol Sue Esposito, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Hospice House, Poland, after a long illness. She was born on Jan. 28, 1944, in Youngstown, to the late Nicholas Aulisio and Jennie (DeCapua) Aulisio. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1962 and was very active in reunion planning to bring classmates together up until her illness. She married the love of her life, Frank Esposito, on April 11, 1984, and loved being a homemaker to her husband and family. Carol was a very kind and gentle soul, she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Carol's spirit is carried on by her husband of 31 years, Frank Esposito; her daughters, Kristina Nicholas and Jennifer (Brad) Simon; her son, Joseph Esposito; and four precious grandchildren, Maren, Neela, Jayde and Brooklynn Simon. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary (Julius) Tareshawty; and her brother, Nick Aulisio; in addition to her faithful dog, Red; and many much-loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives along with an extended family of friends. With a real zest for life, Carol loved knitting, hosting parties, baking and cooking (especially her famous pepperoni rolls), road trips to Florida, and listening to music but above all, cherished her time spent with her granddaughters, who affectionately called her "Nana." Her signature gift of joy was shown through by her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around and will never be forgotten. She will be remembered as an angel that lived, laughed, and loved. Family and friends may pay their respect on Sunday, June 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home on Market Street in Youngstown. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 29, at St. Paul the Apostle Church, New Middletown. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Carol Esposito to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Youngstown, OH 44514. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt ways, and extends a special thank you to the compassionate staff at Select Specialty Hospital, Boardman and Caprice Nursing Home, North Lima.
