Carol M. "Buba" Sabanick, 62 YOUNGSTOWN-Services will be 12:15 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman and 1 p.m. in Saint Christine Church for Carol M. "Buba" Sabanick, 62, who died Thursday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic. Carol was born February 28, 1944, in Youngstown and was a lifelong area resident. Her father, Francis Danks died November 7, 1944 and her mother, the former Rose Hackett, died August 10, 1987. She was a 1962 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, a homemaker and a waitress at Uptown Pizza. She was a member of Saint Christine Church, an avid reader and a member of several card clubs. She leaves two daughters, Joni (Dan) Fiorpiselli, Kim Barker both of Youngstown; two sons, Steve Sabanick and David Sabanick both of Youngstown; three brothers, Frank (Joyce) Danks of Canton, Jim (Mamie) Danks of Columbiana and Bill (Barbara) Danks of Boardman; three sisters, Sally (Carl) Esposito of Liberty, Roselyn (Bob) Mikolich of Struthers and Dorothy (Russell) Sarkies of Boardman; three grandchildren, Kayla Barker, Danielle Sabanick and Ashley Sabanick; and her best friend, Pat (Bob) Hughes of Boardman. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
