Carolee Jean Daroux 62, of Hickory, NC passed into the arms of her loving savior Friday, July 1st, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born April 28th, 1954, she was the daughter of Dean and the late Shirley Ferris. Carolee was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and poetry as well as spending most of her time with family and friends, never missing an opportunity to bake breads and cakes for them. Her deepest passion was to study the word of God and spend time in prayer. In addition to her father and step mother Dean and Dee Ferris; her husband Wane; a daughter Roseanna Taninecz; two sons Nathan (April) Taninecz and William Taninecz; a brother Ted (Joan) Ferris; her four grandchildren Nicholas Jackson, Andrew Taninecz, Grace Taninecz, and Jacob Taninecz; her stepsisters Robin Russo, Leslie Griffith, Debbie (John) Cotton, Sharlene (Chris) Sipple, and stepbrother Clifford (Mary Jo) Sinn survive her In addition to her mother; a daughter Christen and son Adam preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Edward J. Fox Funeral Home in Youngstown with Pastor Randy Morocco officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Youngstown. In addition, the family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday, July 8th, 2016 at the funeral home.
