Youngstown- Carolyn "Jean" Cappabianca, 74, Prayers will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home , Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Edward Noga at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church Youngstown, for Carolyn "Jean" Cappabianca, 74 of Youngstown who joined her husband Jack in heaven on Wednesday. Jean was born Oct 20, 1935 in Youngstown a daughter of William B. & Mary Devaney Thornton.. She graduated from East High School with the Class of 1952. Jean spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She loved to cook, especially Italian food, her door was always open and her table always plentiful. Jean was married to Jack Cappabianca on May 11, 1957. She was a Catholic and a member of St. Patrick Church. She leaves behind her greatest joys, her children and grandchildren. Her daughters Mary Jean Cappabianca (John Rodriguez) of Youngstown, Diane Herman and grand daughters Emily & Brigitte of Youngstown and Carolyn (Emilio) Cruz and grandchildren Marcos, Myca, & Mya of Canfield, sons; Dominic (Paula) Cappabianca and grand daughters Dominique & Lauren Cappabianca and grandson Angelo Tabachino of Austintown , Jack (Patty) Cappabianca and grandchildren Carli, Giavonna and Giacomo of Youngstown and Billy (Cherry) Cappabianca and grandchildren Jack, Angelina and Dean of Green Township. Jean was one of eight children and was especially close to her brother William Thornton, sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Andrew Scarmack all of Canfield. She also leaves a sister Patricia and a brother Michael both of Boardman. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by a sister Margaret and brothers Jack and James. She will be cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, husband's cousins and friends, especially Donna, Jean & Tina. Friends may call 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
