Catherine M. Zimmerman, 63 NEW MIDDLETOWN - There will be funeral services at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the Fox Funeral Home for Catherine M. Zimmerman, 63, who passed away Tuesday evening at her residence. Catherine was born June 21, 1950, in Canton, a daughter of the late William and Elsie James Buckridge. She moved to the Youngstown area after marring Billy and was a homemaker and a mother of four sons. Her husband Billy Zimmerman, whom she married on Dec. 22, 1967, passed away on March 1, 1977. She will be greatly missed by her four sons, Billy P. (Janet) Zimmerman of Struthers, David (Helen) Zimmerman of Austintown, Charles Zimmerman of Mansfield and James Zimmerman with whom she made her home in New Middletown; two brothers, William Buckridge of Canton and David Buckridge of Mansfield; two sisters, Margaret James of Canton and Nora Zimmerman of Warren; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by two brothers, James and John Buckridge; and her sister, Mary Lou Jacquet.
