CHARLES E. COLEMAN,76 BOARDMAN-There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday April 14 at St. Charles Church for Charles E. Coleman, 76 who died last Friday morning at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Mr. Coleman was born June 18, 1935, a son of Charles A and Ruth (Freisen) Coleman and was a life-long area resident. He was a 1953 graduate of Woodrow WIlson High School. He received a degree in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University in 1958. He was a Professional Engineer serving as aVice President of AP. O'Horo Co, Vice President of Soda Construction and President of Western Reserve Construction Co. Upon retiring he briefly worked as a Consultant. He served as Local Chairman for the Ohio Contractors Association. He was also past member of the American Society of Highway Engineers. He was a past member of the Downtown Kiwanis. He was an accomplished Duplicate Bridge Player, achieving the rank of Gold Life Master. He also served as President of the Bridge Unit in which the Youngstown area is part of. He was a Certified Bridge Teacher and an accredited Director of the game of Bridge. His wife, the former Donna Splain whom he married Jan. 26, 1957 died December 12, 2007after celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. He will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Lynne (Gary) Rosati of Youngstown, Lori (David) Carmendy of Columbus, one son Charles (Jodi) of Columbus, nine grandchildren; one great grandchild and Sally Veauthier. Besides his wife and parents he was precede in death by his brother Paul Coleman. Friends may visit on Saturday morning, from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church,7345 Westview Dr. Boardman.
