Charles J. Repomonto, Sr., 91 Prayers will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Church at St. Lucy's in Lowellville celebrated by the Reverend Shawn Conoboy for Charles J. Repomonto, Sr., who passed away Tuesday surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born on May 7, 1923 in Youngstown, a son of Dominic and Louise Pyardi Repomonto. He was a journeyman welder and pipefitter, and was employed by Truscon Steel, Commercial Piping, retiring from Schol Choffin. Charles belonged to the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #396, and was a member of St. Lucy's. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed working in his garden. He loved to cheer for his favorite teams - the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Yankees, and Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved a good party, especially with dancing. His wife, the former Helen Marie Krisnas, whom he married on April 14, 1945, passed away on July 31, 2008. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Charles J. Repomonto, Jr. of Lowellville and daughter Marlene (Ned) Shippoli of Austintown; four grandchildren, Elaine (Marty) Moss of New Middletown, Ashley Shippoli of Austintown, Charles (Chrissy) J.Repomonto, III of Palmdale, CA, and Jacquelyn Repomonto of Youngstown, and three great grandchildren, Alexa, Tyler, and Anthony. Besides his loving wife Helen, he was preceded in death by his sister Florence "Dolly" Marz. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
