Chris F. Rochow, Jr., 89 BOARDMAN--Graveside services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, for Chris F. Rochow, Jr., 89 of Boardman who died Saturday morning. Chris was born August 3, 1918, in Youngstown, a son of Chris F. & Emma Rochow, Sr. He was a graduate of The Rayen School and worked as a power shovel operator then retired from Youngstown Steel Door. Chris enjoyed gardening and was active with the senior citizen groups at Trinity Fellowship Church and Highway Tabernacle. He served his country during WW II in the Army Air Corp. as a plane mechanic. His wife, the former Bessie Alice Ludt, whom he married June 21, 1941, died July 16, 1995. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son Christian (Rose) Rochow, III of Boardman and a grandson Christian Rochow, IV, Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard & Harold Rochow and a sister Emily Michaels. There are no calling hours. Material tributes can be sent to the donor's favorite veterans association.
