Obituary

Christian Wm. Clark, 47, passed away Saturday June 2, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by family.

Chris was born July 14, 1970, in Youngstown, son of Robert H. and Phyllis V. Mellinger Clark, Jr., he was a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate from Canfield high school and attended Youngstown State University. Chris worked at Ram Carpet Cleaning and was co- owner of The Clark Bar on Mahoning Ave., in Youngstown.

Christian was funny -smart, patient and so easy going for someone so tall and handsome. The sound of his voice was calm and comforting. When Chris would retell his version of family event… you knew he was going to entertain you and would enjoy a chuckle. Chris always put his family and loved ones first, no matter what, no matter what time it was, no matter how unreasonable his family could be. Chris was always there as the peacemaker. He had the gift of seeing beyond the difficult situation to find peace, humor and good times.

He leaves to cherish his memory his girlfriend Jennifer Dice, his love and the nearest to his heart, his brother Jonathan S. Clark of Youngstown and sisters Margaret "Molly" Clark of Pahrump, NV and Rebekah A. Clark of Boardman, brother-in-law David Brooks of Canfield and sister-in-laws Gina Clark of Youngstown and Pam Clark of Boardman. He also leaves nieces and nephews; Reid Clark; Stacie Clark; Wayne Miller; Kelly Clark: Frank Clark, Jr.; Jessica Clark; Jamie Kroner; Heather Clark Secrest; Nick and Jake Clark,  Samantha Brooks; Danielle Alterio and Samantha Altiro.

Christian was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Richard D. Clark, Susan E. Clark, Frank B. Clark, Sr., his twin sister Sarah M. Brooks and Robert H. Clark, III.
