Dale Nevin Bartelmay, 88 YOUNGSTOWN - There will be a memorial service in honor of the life of Dale N. Bartelmay at 2.pm. Sunday November 16th at Faith Community Covenant Church, 1919 East Midlothian Blvd. officiated by Rev. Michael Zabel. Dale passed away the morning of October 25th at Park Vista Retirement Community. Dale was born September 27, 1926 in Youngstown, a son of Leonard and Florence Maag Bartelmay, went to Sheridan Elementary School, graduated from South High School attended Youngstown College and Ohio State University. He lived in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and retired as Vice President of Sales for Kirby Division where he worked from 1964 until 1997. Dale was a world traveler both through work and pleasure from China to Europe and throughout the United States but always claiming Paris was his favorite city. Dale was a Mason belonging to Lodge # 481 and was a member of the Saxon Club. He will be missed by his niece Tess Bartelmay of Youngstown; his three nephews, Dale Patterson of Phoenix, AZ, John Bartelmay of LaPorte, TX and Leonard Bartelmay of Youngstown; three great nieces; three great-great nieces and a great-great nephew. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Jack Bartelmay and his sister June Patterson. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides on Eden wing of Park Vista for their loving care and compassion for Dale. In lieu of flowers, the Bartelmay family requests that monetary donations be made in Dale's name to Alzheimer's Association, 70 West Streetsboro St, Suite 201 Hudson, OH 44236 or Rescue Mission, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Youngstown, OH 44510.
