Daniel E. "Uncle Danny" Lafferty, 75 BOARDMAN - Daniel E. "Uncle Danny" Lafferty, 75, passed away peacefully Thursday evening. Daniel was born Oct. 9, 1936, in Homestead, Pa., a son of Harry R. Sr. and Velda Eckley Lafferty. He was a professional painter all of his life. Daniel loved to fish, garden, watching the History Channel, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing cards with his friends at Ahepa Apts. He had a true love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory, four nieces, Linda Maughan, Darlene Moses, Milene Moses and Kathy Lehsten; two nephews, Larry (Jill) Herock and Bill (Eliza) Moses Jr.; several great-nieces and nephews; and a great-great-niece. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry R. Lafferty Jr. and William Lafferty; and a sister, Joanne (Bill) Moses. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery in Munhall, Pa.
