David J. Hasey, 68 YOUNGSTOWN - There will be a private service at a later date for David J. Hasey, 68 who passed away Monday morning at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boardman. David was born September 28, 1946 in Bangor, Maine, a son of the late Harry and Pearl Thompson Hasey Jr. He graduated from Bangor High School with the Class of 1964, attended Wentworth Institute in Boston and was a graduate of the University of Maine in 1969. He was a veteran from the United States Airforce. David's career was spent in the water business. He started in Maine and through many promotions moved to Erie, PA as Vice President and General Manager of Pennsylvania Water Co. (Erie Division); after that spent time as Operation Supervisor for Ohio Water Service Company. David could repair anything but especially enjoyed fixing cars and motorcycles. He leaves behind his beloved former wife Jean Marie Hasey of Boardman; his son Adam Hasey of Orno, Maine; his step-son Todd Benjamin of Erie, PA; his brother Richard Hasey of Falls Church, VA; his two sisters Barbara Andrews of Bradenton, FL and Judy Hasey Nisbett of Monmouth, Maine; three step-grandchildren; 1 step-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Harry Hasey III.
