Deborah K. Hoffman, 60 NILES - A private memorial service to celebrate the life of Deborah K. Hoffman, 60, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, at the Zion Lutheran Church. Ms. Hoffman died of natural causes on May 26, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Niles, where she was a longtime resident. Debbie, as she was known, was born on Jan. 6, 1952, in Youngstown, the daughter of Bruno and Aileen Hoffman. She is survived by three sisters, Gretchen Julian of Kent, Jenifer Johnson of Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Bobbie Parker of Orrum, N.C.; and three nieces, Kelly Fleming of Parkersburg, W.Va., Nicole Julian of Youngstown, and Lynelle Johnson of Corona del Mar, Calif. Her parents are deceased. The family requests that any material contributions be made to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.
