Delores Rita Lagese, 76 AUSTINTOWN - There will be prayers at 9:15 Saturday at Fox Funeral Home followed by a Resurrection Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10 a.m celebrated by Fr. Kenneth Miller for Delores Rita Lagese, 76, who passed away Sunday evening at Austinwoods. Delores was born November 5, 1934 in Niles, a daughter of the late John and Ann Carano Montano and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from South High School with the Class of 1957. Delores worked as a comptometer operator for Loblaws, Metal Carbides and later worked at the Austintown Library. She was a long time member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and was a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of a Garden Club and belonged to the same 500 Card Club for over 40 years. Delores was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose family was the center of her world. She loved to cook, bake and babysit for her grandchildren and she was kind to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her husband, James S. Lagese her childhood sweetheart whom she married on June 27, 1959 celebrating 55 years of marriage. She also leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Renee (Joseph) Gugliotti of Boardman; her son Joseph (Amy) Lagese of Boardman; her sister Josephine Mihokovich of Austintown; her four grandchildren, Adriana Gugliotti of Chicago, IL, Marisa (Ryan) James of Canfield, Jimmy and Jason Lagese of Boardman. Besides her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her sister Louise Wrona. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to7 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
