Dennis John Bruner, 68 CANFIELD - There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home celebrated by Rev. Ray "Skip" Linebaugh for Dennis John Bruner, 68, who passed away Monday morning at Hospice House. Dennis was born March 21, 1943, in Campbell, a son of Michael and Elizabeth Checkel Bruner and has been a lifetime area resident. He was a graduate of Campbell High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving with the Ohio National Guard in the 437th Military Police. Dennis retired as a Planning Engineer for General Motors. He was a member of the Youngstown Rod and Custom automobile club. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Jeanne O'Dea, whom he married May 7th, 1966 just celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. He also leaves his two sons, Tim (Erin) Bruner, Dennis "Judd" (Jamie) Bruner both of Boardman; four daughters, Jessica (Jim) Jeffries of Orange, FL, Kelly Bruner, LeAnn (Nicholas) Fournier, Marta Bruner all of Boardman; two brothers, Michael Bruner of Kenton, OH , Thomas Bruner of Cortland; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman, OH.
