Dennis Cregan, 78 YOUNGSTOWN - Private Services were held for Dennis Cregan, 78, who passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Dennis was born January 18, 1933 in Tacoma, Washington, the son of Joseph and Hazel Moore Cregan. He moved to Youngstown from Tacoma in 1935. Dennis graduated from East High School in 1950 and enlisted in the Army in !950 where he served until 1954 as a Staff Sergeant. Dennis married Kathryn Daigle in Detroit, Michigan on October 25, 1954. They have three children; Dennise (Tom) Bukovac, David Cregan, Scott (Merly) Cregan; five grandchildren, Sean & Jason Bukovac, Charity, Sharon and Joel Cregan and 10 great grandchildren. He worked at Republic Steel in Youngstown, Ohio from 1957 until 1965 then he transferred to Warren Republic until he retired in 1986. After retiring he worked for Bryson Manor for 14 years, leaving in 2005.
