Diane Cartwright Furnish, 57 ACWORTH, GA. - Prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev Kevin Peter at 10 a.m. at St. Angela Merici Parish in Youngstown, for Diane Cartwright Furnish, 57, of 3326 McEver Park Circle, who passed away at her parents home Thursday morning in Struthers. Diane was born Oct. 18, 1954, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles T. and Norma Jean Fullerman Cartwright. Diane had lived the past 19 years in Georgia. She was a 1973 graduate of Struthers High School and had worked for Mahoning National Bank and Boardman Medical in Girard. Diane was a member of St. Catherine Siena in Acworth. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gary Furnish, whom she married Feb. 19, 1977; a son, Gary (Elizabeth) Furnish of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Janice L. Kirlik of Poland; a brother, John (Janice) Cartwright of Boardman; several nieces and nephews; and her best friends, Sharon (Rick) Hayes and family of Acworth. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Chuck Cartwright; and two nephews. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
