Dolores A. Pietro Craig, 81 YOUNGSTOWN - Private funeral services were held for Dolores A. Pietro Craig, 81, who passed away the morning of Sunday December 1, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown. Dolores was born October 12, 1932, in Cleveland, a daughter of Michael and Catherine Smith Pietro and has been an Ohio resident all of her life. She was a graduate of East High School of Cleveland in 1950 and came to the Youngstown area as a young adult. She was hired in the Youngstown City Schools at the central kitchen first, then transferred to the East High School cafeteria and then to the custodial staff at Kirkmere Elementary School until she retired. Dolores had a love for music and dancing. She also loved animals, especially her cat Precious who passed away in November of last year. Dolores leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter Lisa Gallagher of Youngstown; four sons Daniel and his wife Kae Birmingham, Patrick Birmingham, Raymond Birmingham all of St. Petersburg, FL., James "Chip" and his wife Renee Birmingham of LaPorte, Indiana ; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Christina, Jennifer, Jessica, Kayla, Raymond, Danielle; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter. Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her son Michael Birmingham. The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center; Stephanie Coppin and Hospice House; all the friends and family who sent their love and support in particular, Vince Raver, Cindi Farina and Janice Yancsurak Solomon.
