Dominic Anello Cioffi, 76 CANFIELD - Dominic Anello Cioffi, 76, died suddenly on Monday, July 13, 2015, in his Canfield home. He was born in Williamsport, Pa., but the Youngstown area was his home for his adult life. Born on Dec. 25, 1939, Dominic was preceded in death by both parents, Domenick and Catherine (Abrunzo) Cioffi. He will reunite in heaven with his wife of 47 years, Kathleen Cicchi Cioffi, whom he married July 2, 1966, and who passed away on May 16, 2013. Dominic will be sadly missed by his daughters, Catherine Kelli Moreno of Canfield; Jennifer Cioffi of Cleveland; and Gianna Cioffi of Warren. He also leaves four grandchildren, Kathryn Ann, Nathan Anthony, both of Pittsburgh, and Roman Alexander and Casimer Anello, both of Warren; and one great-grandchild, Dominic Bernard of Pittsburgh. He also leaves behind his sister, Lucia Norwood and his brother, Tom (Cyndi) Cioffi, both of Atlanta Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. After serving with the U.S. Navy, Dominic attended Youngstown University. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was a legendary business owner for many years, located adjacent to the Youngstown State University campus. He was a talented athlete and played football both for the navy and Youngstown. He was enthusiastic and successful golfer, he also loved to hunt and fish. The most enduring memory he leaves was his powerful testimony for Jesus Christ and his desire to evangelize His great love to those around him. When asked how he was doing, he would most often reply, "Any better and I'd be in heaven !" Family and friends are welcome to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home. Additionally, friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service on Friday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at the Bridge of Hope Church, 7580 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, OH 44512.
