Dominic J. DeLaurentis, 74 BOARDMAN-There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, preceded by a prayer service at 9:15 a.m. held at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Dominic J. DeLaurentis, 74, of Boardman, who died Wednesday evening at his residence surrounded by his family. Dominic was born April 4, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio, the only son of the late Dominic J. and Irma Mariani DeLaurentis Sr. and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from South High School with the Class of 1955 and then joined the Navy and spent 4 years protecting our country. He was employed as a salesman for A & P Supermarkets and then for the Pepsi Cola Company until retiring in 1999. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #3298 Dominic is survived by his wife the former Clotilda "Tillie" McCarthy, whom he married on October 1, 1960. They were blessed to celebrate their 51rst wedding anniversary last fall. Dom leaves his son Atty. Dominic J. (Jackie) DeLaurentis of Boardman; two daughters, Ann (Ben) Trotter of Dublin, Gina (Randy) Ritchie of Austintown; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Ritchie, Nicole DeLaurentis, Keli Ritchie, Lauren DeLaurentis, Dominic DeLaurentis, Jenna DeLaurentis, Chloe Trotter, Benjamin Trotter; and his sister Mary (John) Stabile of Boardman. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Spratt and his staff and MVI Hospice for the loving care and compassion that they extended to Dominic.
