Donald "Donnie" D. Gaudio Jr., 54 BOARDMAN - Prayers will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by the Very Rev Msgr. Michael Cariglio Jr. at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica Church in Youngstown, for Donald "Donnie" D. Gaudio Jr., 54, who passed away after a brief illness at the Cleveland Clinic Monday, with his family by his side. Donnie was born Dec. 27, 1961, in Youngstown, a son of Donald D. and Barbara Luscre Gaudio Sr. He attended St. Luke grade school and was a 1980 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He excelled in football and baseball and was a avid New York Yankee and Dallas Cowboy fan. Besides his parents of Boardman, Donnie leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Cassidy and Cameron (fiancAC. Josh Donatelli); a sister, Tina (Bill) Evans of Pittsburgh; Dawn Gaudio, the mother of his children; his greatest joy, his grandson, Anthony, who referred to him as "Pa"; aunts Darlene (Kevin) Mitchell of Florida and Janice (Nestor) Barrios of Boardman; uncle Ralph (Kathie) Guido of Cleveland; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Tony and Peggy Luscre, and Ralph and Edna Gaudio; and uncle Sonny Luscre.
