Donald Charles George, 66 YOUNGSTOWN--Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home and 10:30 at Glenwood Christian Fellowship Church for Donald Charles George, 66 who died Saturday morning at his home with his family by his side. Donald was born March 10, 1940 , in Harrisburg, PA, a son of Wilbur Franklin & Helen Bessie Hess George. He first worked at U.S. Steel in the metal fab Dept., then drove truck for PAM Dedicated Trucking and Estes Trucking. He was a member of the Glenwood Christian Fellowship Church, and founded Shepherds of Christ. Donald was also active in the PTA at Roosevelt School , the Shifty Fifties and was a scout leader at the Scared Heart Church in New Castle. Besides his stepmother, Henrietta George of Merserburg, PA, he leaves his wife, the former Georgeann Howard, whom he married Dec 6, 1986; a daughter Linda L. (Rob) Tate of New Middletown, Ohio; a son Edwin J. (Andrea) Howard of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers Kenneth (Joyce) George of Camp Hill, PA, Kevin Hess of Shermansdale, PA, Daryl Saylor of Newbloomfield, PA; sisters, Sonie Brewbaker of Enola, PA, Vicky (John) Porterfield on Newville, PA, Judy (Mike) Zang of Newbloomfield, PA, Helen Saylor of Mechanicsburg, PA., Jeanie Arnold Of Carlisle, PA, Wyona (Greg) Bettings of Laysville, PA, Georgie (Charles) Lock and Tawna Stouffer both of Mercerburg, PA and Sherry (Dave) Leach of Plano, Texas. Four grandchildren, Robert Ray Tate, Hevyn Ray Tate, Sierra Joe Howard and Edwin Leon Howard. Deceased family members are his parents, a brother Jim Saylor and a sister, Genevieve Zieders.
