Boardman- Donald J. Poulakos, Sr., 85. Funeral Services will be 11:30 A.M. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman for Donald J. Poulakos, Sr., 85 of Boardman who passed away Wednesday morning. Donald was born December 9, 1925 in Youngstown, a son of John D. & Grace Shinda Poulakos. He owned and operated Poulakos Bakery in Youngstown. Donald was a member of St. Charles Church and enjoyed NASCAR racing. Donald was a Navy veteran serving on the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard during WWII. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Edna K. Cahoon whom he married June 22, 1946 two sons Donald J. Poulakos, Jr of Boardman and Richard (Susan) Poulakos of Surfside Beach, S.C. four grandchildren Donald (Holli) Poulakos, III, Deneen Poulakos, Lisa (Jim) Galich and Jacob Politsky and three great grandchildren.
