Dorothy Court, 89 CANFIELD- There will be Memorial Services 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Christine Catholic Church for Dorothy Court, 89, who passed away Thursday morning at Briarfield Manor. Mrs. Court was born March 22, 1917, In Youngstown, a daughter of Edward and Mary G. Jones Reese and has been an area resident all of her life. Dorothy was a graduate of South High School and was a homemaker. Dorothy was a member of Saint Christine Church for many years. Her husband , Franklin A. Court, whom she married August 25, 1937, died January 1, 1988, after celebrating there fiftieth wedding anniversary. She leaves a son; Franklin E. Court ( Abbie Loomis) from Madison, WI, a daughter; Patricia (Harry) Higgins of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a sister-in-law; Irene Reese of Youngstown and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by both of her brothers, Edward Reese and Ralph Reese.
