Dorothy Jean Ferrare, 80 YOUNGSTOWN Prayers will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home Boardman Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at St. Dominic Church for Dorothy Jean Ferrare, 80, who died Saturday morning . Dorothy was born November 3, 1928, in Youngstown, a daughter of Andrew and Marcella Dunn Omlor and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1946 graduate of Ursuline High School and worked at Mahoning National bank as a teller and for the State of Ohio Highway Dept as a secretary. She also operated Jean Ferrare Custom Drapery & Upholstery. Dorothy was a member of the church and enjoyed Jigsaw & Crossword Puzzles. Her husband, Frank R. Ferrare , whom she married, July 26,1952, died January 2,1992. She leaves a son, Richard (Phyllis) Ferrare of Canfield; three grandchildren, David Mercer, Tiffany Spotleson and Adam Mercer all of Canfield and three great grandchildren; Zander Mercer, Ralph Spotleson III, Ryan Spotleson. Besides her husband and parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ferrare and a sister, Rosemary McCauley. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
