Dorothy Elaine Janesh YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be officiated by the Rev. Michael Zabel at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Community Covenant Church in Youngstown, for Dorothy Elaine Janesh, 89, who passed away peacefully Sunday morning. Dorothy was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Youngstown, a daughter of Dorsey and Mary Geiger Urbach Sr.. She was a East High School graduate and co-owned with her husband, Frank's Custom Draperies. Dorothy was a member of the Faith Community Covenant Church and Brownlee Woods Senior Citizens. An excellent seamstress, Dorothy also enjoyed baking, playing cards and spending time with her family. Her husband, Frank J. Janesh, whom she married Jan. 24, 1948, passed away March 27, 2002. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Larry Janesh of Youngstown; three daughters, Elaine (Dennis) Ferguson of Brookville, Pa., Gloria (Frank) Isabella of Miami, and Barbara (Tom) Helmick of Eagle River, Wis.; a brother, Paul Urbach of Oviedo, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, with another great granddaughter on the way. Besides her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jean Janesh; three brothers, Harry Urbach, Ralph Urbach and Dorsey Urbach Jr.; and a sister, Betty Smith. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Community Covenant Church.
